Abstract

|
The purpose of this article is to introduce update of Australian guidelines for the management of hip fractures in older persons. This includes recommendations for acute management, rehabilitation, and prevention of hip fractures. These evidence-based recommendations will be able to provide older people suffering hip fracture with the most effective management, and help them to return quickly to their previous activities.
